Barrow MP hits out at squabbling in parliament

BARROW MP John Woodcock has spoken of his dislike of the squabbling in parliament.

Speaking on The Political Party with Matt Forde internet comedy show, he said: “It can be a laugh, it can be fun. But when you go home and watch the clips on the 6pm news, it just looks awful and it’s two people shouting at each other saying ‘no, it’s your fault’ and I think it’s what really turns people off. When you are talking about serious things in a serious way, it’s harder for the boo boys to make it a pantomime and I hope that stays.”
