Barrow men accused of attack against disabled man

TWO men accused of attacking a disabled Barrow resident in his own bed will appear at crown court.

Daniel Robert Kidd, 20, of Ramsgate Crescent, Barrow and Matthew Crossdale, 18, of Schneider Road, Barrow, appeared at Furness Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

They were charged with attacking David Greenall at his flat in Broad Close, Barrow, on June 28.

The pair are also accused of taking items from the flat, including a mobile phone, cash and a tobacco tin.

Both men were remanded in custody and will next appear at Preston Crown Court on July 25.

The court heard that five men were allegedly involved in the attack and that police investigations were ongoing to find the remaining suspects.
