Barrow man in court on heroin charge

A 28-year-old Barrow man has appeared before a court charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs with a street value of £13,000.

Christopher Mark Dixon, of Westmorland Street, Barrow, has not entered pleas to the charges and has been remanded into custody to appear before Preston Crown Court on May 16.

Dixon is accused of conspiracy to supply heroin with a street value of £2,700 between February 18 and 28 and crack cocaine and heroin worth £11,000 between the same dates in Barrow.

He appeared before Furness Magistrates’ Court today and was represented by Mr Michael Graham.
