Barrow man faces racial assault charges

A BARROW man will appear in court facing allegations of a racially aggravated assault.

Stephen Kidson, of School Street, Barrow, will appear before Furness Magistrates’ Court, in Abbey Road, Barrow, on Tuesday.

Kidson, 57, is alleged to have assaulted Shereen Biggars on April 5, he faces a second charge of racially aggravated assault also relating to Ms Biggars.

Kidson will answer the allegations for the first time on Tuesday when he is expected to enter a plea.
