Barrow firefighters assist family of child locked in car

FIREFIGHTERS came to the aid of a shopper whose young child was accidentally locked in the car at a Barrow supermarket.

Crew members attended Morrisons car park in Barrow this lunchtime to get a little boy out of a car as the keys had been locked inside.

The Barrow crew removed a rear window of the car and they were able to retrieve the keys and open the car.

The fire service said the young child was fine and not distress by the incident.
