Barrow fair to lift ill children

SICK children facing Christmas in hospital will benefit from a special craft fair.

A Christmas craft fair is due to take place on Sunday between 11am and 5pm at the Kill One club, Duke Street, Barrow.

Money raised from the event will go towards new toys and comfort blankets for Furness General Hospital’s children’s ward.

Hot and cold refreshments will be on sale and there will be a children’s craft corner where youngsters can make cards, crackers and decorations while their parents shop around.

The event is free to enter and stalls can be arranged for £7 by contacting Diana Burns on 07730 449596.
