Barrow cyclist injured near Walney Bridge

A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital following a collision with a car in Bridge Road, near Walney Bridge, this morning.
The incident happened at around 6.50am and an ambulance crew took the cyclist, a 46-year-old man from Barrow, to Furness General Hospital.
The cyclist complained of lower back pains.
The driver of the car, a Fiat Punto, was a 47-year-old man. He suffered no injuries.
Police have been informed about the incident.

No where near Walney bridge, it was at coffee house roundabout near Barrow Island around half a mile away.
