Barrow crash driver gets ban

A BARROW man was banned from driving after admitting to three driving offences on Tuesday.

Jordan Riglar, of Vernon Street, pleaded guilty at Furness Magistrates’ Court to driving without care and attention, driving without insurance and failing to produce his licence.

The 23-year-old crashed a hired BMW into another car in Buccleuch Street, Barrow, after failing to give way when coming out of Slater Street.

He received a six-month driving ban and was fined £200. He was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.
