Barrow British Heart Foundation appeal

Barrow British Heart Foundation Furniture & Electrical store is urgently appealing to local residents to have a clear out and donate any unwanted household goods.

Items can include sofas, armchairs, beds and TVs and 100% of the profits raised from donations will go into the fight against heart disease and fund the BHF’s life-saving research.

The Heart Foundation’s area manager Trudy Warburton, said “We absolutely rely on the support of the local community in Barrow and the surrounding area to keep us running and without their generous donations we risk reducing funding for vital research into heart disease.”

All types of furniture and electricals are needed, so rather than throwing out unwanted items or paying for them to be collected by the council, donate them to the BHF Furniture & Electrical store and help fund life-saving research.

All donations can be collected for free by calling 0844 848 9614.
