Part of After www.ralph-spours.co.ukquick tea I got all W&P in my penguin suit and took off for the Cumbria Grand Hotel in Grange. It was the 28th Annual Boxing Tournament on behalf of the Freemasons and I was acting, as I have been for the past 19years or so, as the MC. It was a sell-out yet again and the boxing was excellent. The best bout that I have ever witnessed was between Ross Cooksey of Barrow ABC and Thomas Hallimond of Shildon ABC. Cooksey won the bout on a Unanimous decision and justified a spontaneous, standing, and long-lasting, ovation. Both boxers were supreme and the atmosphere in the hall was electric. There were 11 bouts and we finished up just about 12 midnight. WELL DONE RALPH. The comment above should we stay in ? you need to get out more. sorry annon should we ban all sports. where was your comment when the picks for the ulverston rugby lads were in the mail ?
