Barrow assault leads to CCTV appeal

POLICE in Barrow have today released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with an assault that occurred last month.

Between 8.30am and 8.50am on 10 February 2013, a man entered the Co-Operative store on Ainslie Street in Barrow and was verbally abusive to staff members and another customer. He spat at a staff member before leaving the store.

Police are appealing for the man captured in the CCTV to come forward. He was seen in the store around the time the offence took place and may have information that can help police with their enquiries.

If this was you, or if you think you recognise this man, please contact PC Paul Grierson at Barrow police station by dialling 101.
