Baby involved in Walney traffic collision

A FOUR-month-old baby was knocked over in her pram by a car.

Police are investigating a road traffic collision that occurred at 12.15 in the afternoon on Wednesday April 16.

A dark blue car hit and knocked over a four-month-old girl while in her pram on Bristol Street, in Walney.

The child was taken to Furness General Hospital where it was found she had suffered no injuries.

Police are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the incident to contact them on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
