1 Sugarfoot, at Odd Frog, Barrow - tonight

The country rock five-piece have their first public show in Barrow of the year when they play at the new Duke Street venue, Odd Frog.

Known for their outdoor shows in Barrow Park and recent festival appearances such as Croft Rock, this long-running band have been limited to private outings in 2018. They’ll be playing through a set-list that includes songs from the likes of Lady Antebellum, Dixie Chicks, Gretchen Peters, Eddi Reader, Avicii, Kirsty MacColl, Dolly Parton, Amy McDonald, Alison Krauss, and Steve Earle, among many others.

2 Fight For Friday at The Derby, Barrow - tonight

Pop punk band Fight For Friday have their first local headliner since a summer tour that took them across the UK and a debut at Kendal Calling. They will be performing tracks from this summer’s Someone You Could Trust EP.

Support on the night comes from local acts Run & Hyde, and Memento Mori.

3 Furness Underground DNB at BUMS, Barrow - tonight

The latest drum ‘n’ bass night at Barrow Underground Music Society, in Carlisle Street, serves as a closing party for the summer.

Tony Sparks and Metalman headline, joined by Lancastrians Junior Jahvis, Skreatz, Valleyy and Watts, and Barrovians DJ Hartley, Higgz, Driver and Etch.

4 Paddy Garrigan and the Stroller Priests at The Derby, Barrow - tomorrow

Ulverston and Lancaster folk rock trio Paddy Garrigan and the Stroller Priests play their self-penned songs, which include epic tales of sea monsters, James Joyce, Dad’s Army and the afterlife.

Achieving airtime on BBC 6Music, they have also played at events such as Solfest and Moonfest.

5 Paul Bell at Costa Coffee, Dalton Road, Barrow - Sunday

Christian singer-songwriter Paul Bell returns to host the free monthly Sunday Night Live event.

Paul is a seasoned live performer and his performance are a mix of laughter and thoughtful reflection packaged in beautiful acoustic guitar. Bell is known for often finding himself off the lyrical beaten track, and has carved out a niche as one of the more engaging live performers around, seeking to entertain and inspire in equal measure.

He will be playing songs from his fifth studio album, First Light.
