Angry Barrow pub-goer snaps beer pump off bar

AN angry drinker stormed out of a Barrow pub, snapping a beer pump off the bar as she left.

Police have appealed for information after the act of criminal damage which occurred in The Strawberry in Abbey Road on Sunday August 10.

A police spokesman said: “There was a large group drinking in the Strawberry Hotel between 8pm and 11pm.

“A female wearing a pink dress with blonde hair curled into a bun was involved in an argument.

The female the left the Strawberry Hotel, snapping off a larger pump handle on her way out.”

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Cumbria Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
