Accident on the A590

THE emergency services have been called after reports of an accident near Swarthmoor.
The incident occurred at around 5pm this evening on the A590 close to the Cross-a-Moor junction, near Swarthmoor.
A car and a motorcycle collided and police are in attendance to help clear the scene and ease congestion.
Traffic heading towards Ulverston is being disrupted, and tailing back as far as the Askam roundabout.
An ambulance has been called however police said there had been no serious injuries suffered.
