A590 road sign spells Greenodd wrong

A ROAD sign with a glaring spelling mistake has been put up in the A590 road works area at Greenodd.

Greenodd sign
The road sign with the incorrect spelling at the Greenodd roundabout.

The new sign wrongly spells the village of Greenodd with two ‘n’s near the Greenodd roundabout.

It has been put up by the Highways Agency as part of their improvements to replace the T-junction at the A590/A5092.

Archie Workman took a photograph of the mistake and tweeted: “Over four months to build the #Greenodd roundabout and they cannot spell its name.”

Have your say

Where are the road numbers? Not only are destinations missing but also A590 and A595
