Warning over mattress sellers in the Furness area
TRADING Standards are warning residents not to buy mattresses from door to door traders.
The standards agency has said not to buy mattresses as there is no guarantee that they comply with relevant Fire Safety Regulations.
They might also not be of good quality and grossly overpriced, the agency warns.
The latest incident occurred in Dalton with reports of a male in a grey van offering to sell mattresses.
