Those with a passion for shopping can browse the popular trade stalls as well as the rural craft marquee.

New and exclusive goods

One new addition for shoppers to enjoy is Gren's Shed- a new stall offering 'shabby chic' one-off hand crafted bird boxes made from bone china and vintage materials.

The unique goods are all made in Cumbria by 59-year-old Grenville Ward and the agricultural show will be the first opportunity for shoppers to snap them up.

For those keen on sampling local cuisine, the food hall will also be offering cookery demonstrations to visitors.

Adrenaline seekers

Another new attraction is the competitive cone driving where horses and their vehicles race around the track against the clock.

If you prefer two wheels instead of four you could also check out Barrow vintage motorcycle club and their array of classic bikes.
