A 10-YEAR-OLD boy has been bitten by a stray Golden Retriever outside a supermarket in a South Cumbrian town.
The incident occurred yesterday at 3pm outside ASDA in Burton Road, Kendal.
The boy went to stroke the dog, which was not with its owner, before being bitten on the hand. He suffered no injuries as a result of the bite.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who may be able to identify the owner of the dog to contact them on 101 quoting log reference number 186 of October 24.
