A Cumbria rider has been airlifted to hospital after a horse fell on her.
The Great North West Air Ambulance's Pride of Cumbria helicopter was called out to Leegate, near Cockermouth earlier today.
On arrival on scene the aircrew doctor and paramedic team assessed and treated a woman for leg and shoulder injuries, before loading her on the helicopter.
She was flown to Cumberland Infirmary, in Carlisle, in 12 minutes, for further treatment.
