POLICE are investigating the theft of a hoard of old coins during a burglary in South Cumbria.
The burglary has taken place at a property in Heron Hill, Kendal. Police have not released details of when the theft is believed to have happened.
Among the items stolen was a collection of old coins including florins, half crowns and sixpences, as well as a silver cigarette case.
Anyone with information, or who is offered similar items for sale, is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
