Police investigate 'suspicious death' of dog in West Cumbria
POLICE in West Cumbria are investigating the suspicious death of a pet dog.
The dead dog was found in the yard of a house in the Gavels, Great Clifton, by its owner with a head injury. Police say the dog is believed to have been killed some time between 4pm and 5pm on Saturday.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
