POLICE are investigating after six tonnes of slate was stolen from a residential street.
The reclaimed blue slate was being stored in a unit in Stafford Street in Askam. Police said it was removed without permission at some point between August 5 and August 19.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
