Three Cumbrian solicitors have moved to pastures new after switching firms.
Paul Smith, Ian Fishwick and Ruth Baker have transferred from Pearson & Pearson in Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale to Thomas Hayton Winkley (THW), which also has offices in the two towns.
With over 80 people working within the business, Thomas Hayton Winkley is now one of the largest legal practices in the area.
As well as Kirkby Lonsdale and Kendal it has branches in Windermere, the J36 Rural Auction Centre and Grange-over-Sands.
Mr Smith and Ms Baker have relocated to Thomas Hayton Winkley offices in Stricklandgate, Kendal – just a few doors down from the Pearson & Pearson office – with their secretarial and support staff.
Mr Fishwick and his staff have moved to new offices at The Old Bank in Kirkby Lonsdale.
Simon Theobold, director at Thomas Hayton Winkley, said: "We are delighted to welcome Paul, Ian and Ruth and look forward to continuing to provide excellent services to all our joint clients across the region.
"Thomson Hayton Winkley will be stronger than ever, taking care of families, individuals and businesses throughout South Lakes."
