A Copeland by-election hustings will be held tonight for nuclear workers and their families.
The event, at Whitehaven Golf Club, has been organised by unions the GMB, Unite and Aslef.
It starts at 7pm and will be chaired by the Archdeacon Richard Pratt.
Candidates Rebecca Hanson for the Liberal Democrats, Trudy Harrison for the Conservative Party, Jack Lenox for the Green Party, Gillian Troughton, for the Labour Party and Ukip's Fiona Mills have been invited to take part.
Independent candidates Michael Guest and Roy Ivinson have not been invited.
A GMB spokesman said: "We have invited candidates to attend whose parties already have an MP in the House of Commons."
It is only for nuclear workers and their families, but we will be live streaming from the event here from 7pm.
There is another hustings event in Millom on Sunday, for all the candidates and all members of the public.
It takes place at the Beggars Theatre, also from 7pm and we will be live streaming the event.
