POLICE have said a man in Cumbria has died after being attacked by one of his dogs, the BBC is reporting.
The 45-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the attack at the house in Robert Owen Avenue, Cleator Moor. Officers were called at 2pm on Sunday.
The animal, a Staffordshire Pit Bull cross breed, was destroyed. Three other dogs were seized from the property and were due to be assessed by police dog experts.
