A WORKINGTON man has been charged with murder following the death of a 29-year-old man in the town.
Cumbria Police, yesterday, arrested 22-year-old Calvin Patrickson, of Newlands Gardens, who is accused of the murder of Daniel McMullen, of Beech Court.
This morning the force tweeted to say: "Calvin Patrickson, 22, of Newlands Gardens,Workington, has been charged with the murder of Daniel McMullen. He will appear at court tomorrow."
Detectives carried out inquiries in Workington following what was described as the "suspicious death" of a man.
Officers were called to Beech Court, off Coniston Drive, at about 7.30am yesterday to reports of an injured man.
He was pronounced dead shortly afterwards by paramedics.
Patrickson is due to appear at Workington Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
