POLICE have arrested a man after armed officers were called to a railway station in Cumbria.
Police can confirm they have arrested a 32-year-old man following an incident in Carlisle last night.
At 8.35pm, Monday 17th October, police were called to reports of a man behaving in a suspicious manner at the railway station in Carlisle.
Armed and unarmed officers were deployed as a precaution.
Police arrested a 32-year-old man at the railway station in connection with a section 4 public order offence and is currently in custody.
