ALL main roads affected by heavy rain yesterday are now open as normal but some minor delays are being reported in some areas.
The flooding which affected the A590 between Brettargh Holt and Levens was cleared as of around 9pm last night.

The A595 between Torpenhow and Cockermouth is now OPEN.

C4017 Closed Ennerdale to Wath Brow
A595 Closed High House Road to St Bees
A595/U2077 Closed Blennerhasset and Baggrow
U4030 Closed Dalzell St, Moor Row
C4014 Closed Beckermet to Braystones
C2001 Closed Plumbland to Bothel Closed Lamplugh to Crossgates
B5345 Closed Kersey bridge
Closed Plumbland School
Closed The Ford, Cleator Moor
A595 Closed North of Holmrook Bridge
Some surface water is understood to still be on the A6 between Levens and Milnthorpe but the traffic appears to be coping well.
Further west, the A595 at Holmrook Bridge is still flooded but traffic is travelling past the affected area.
Also in the west, Kersey Bridge is closed due to flooding.
Meanwhile there is heavy congestion on the M6 northbound between junctions 36 and 37.
