MOTORISTS are experiencing significant delays because of roadworks on the A590.
Roadworks are being carried out on the A590 between Levens and the Meathop roundabout.
Temporary traffic lights and lane closures are causing significant delays of at least 30 minutes.
The congestion is affecting traffic in both directions.
Highways England report that normal traffic conditions are expected by 1.15pm.
