Why do the local councillors persist in trying to make political mileage about the state of Barrow?

Neither the Tory government nor the local council throw their litter onto the ground, allow their dogs to foul the pavements, etc etc.

As Amy Fenton said, there is more than one reason for the mess.

If everyone does their bit, instead of finding excuses to blame someone else, we might get somewhere.

As regards to Trident, remember, what politicians give they can also take away if they see votes in it.

Cancelling Trident would go down well with the SNP and the legions of young voters recruited by Jeremy Corbyn. So we will see.
