Furness General Hospital
I WAS recently admitted as a day patient to Ward 5, Furness General Hospital, for a hernia operation. Totally routine, spotless ward, good food and excellent staff.
However I recently took a bad fall at home and my wife had to call an ambulance. I was admitted to the Acute Medical Unit and subsequently transferred to Ward 2. Again, spotless wards, excellent food and totally dedicated wonderful staff.
