AN investigation has been launched after a four-year-old girl was bitten by a dog outside a post office.
The little girl sustained injuries to her leg after the attack by the white West Highland Terrier.
Police appealing for information about the incident which happened in Saturday, September 23 around 4.30pm in New Road, Kirkby Lonsdale and would like to speak with a woman, believed to be the dog's owner in connection.
She is described as in her fifties with short, brown hair and around 5ft 5.
