Emergency exercise to take place at Sellafield next week
An emergency exercise is set to take place at Sellafield next Wednesday.
A Sellafield Ltd spokesperson said the exercise "may involve the sounding of the site siren".
They added: "Nearby residents should take no action. Emergency exercises are held regularly at all nuclear licensed sites to test their readiness in the event of an emergency."
