A MOTORIST faces being reported for a driving offence after allegedly carrying out a U-turn on a prohibited section of the A590/A591.
Cumbria Roads Police officers were called to the section just past the Brettargh Holt roundabout near Prizet yesterday afternoon.
Two cars, a dark blue Citroen and a grey car - possibly a Nissan Micra, were involved in the collision.
Miraculously, no one was injured during the crash.
Posting the pictures on Twitter, police said: "Making a U-Turn where prohibited is usually a £50 fixed penalty but this one A590 near Prizet caused a collision and will likely cost a lot more. Luckily, the only injuries were to the vehicles #DontDoIt"
