A crash has closed the A595 in Cumbria.
Emergency services are dealing with a serious road traffic collision near Bootle.
It is around a mile north of Bootle, near the Corney turn off.
A statement from Cumbria Constabulary says that police were called at around 8pm following a two-vehicle crash.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
Diversions are in place and delays are expected.
