CONCERNS are growing for the safety of a man who police believe may have visited Cumbria.
Michael Large has gone missing from his home in Derbyshire and has not been seen since 3.15pm on Wednesday when he left home in his grey VW Golf, with the registration number L807 MKY.
He is described as 6'1" tall, with silvery/grey hair. He was wearing blue jeans, and a navy round neck T-shirt. He may have changed into a navy polo top.
There was a sighting of Mr Large's car on the M6 in Cumbria near junction 36 to the A590 at lunchtime on Thursday.
Police believe Mr Large could have stayed in Cumbria or travelled from there to North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire or back into Lancashire.
Anyone who sees Mr Large or his car should ring their local police on 101.
