A BARROW man is set to appear in court after he denied filling up at an Askam petrol station and failing to pay.
Paul Ashley Turner, of Broad Close, will stand trial at Furness magistrates' Court on Friday charged with a string of motoring and theft offences.
The 29-year-old is accused of twice making off without payment from the Dale Mount petrol station in Ireleth Road - once on March 25 to the value of £20 and once on March 27 to the value of £40.
Turner is also accused of driving a Rover 25 without insurance on both the above dates and of driving an incorrectly registered vehicle in Barrow on April 8. Turner denied all five charges when he last appeared on June 9.
