AN Askam man is set to appear in court accused of attacking a Barrow police dog.
Joseph Duncalf, 25, of Duddon Road, is set to appear at Furness Magistrates' Court today accused of three offences all alleged to have taken place on April 19 of this year:
Criminal damage with a value of £500 to a green Volkswagen Golf belonging to Matthew Postlethwaite in Askam;
Criminal damage to Bronn the police dog in Askam;
Having an offensive weapon, namely a metal pole, in a public place, Askam beach.
