From Harry Potter to The Grinch, what costumes are you planning for World Book Day tomorrow.
Children will be getting all dressed up as their favourite book characters and heading to school for a day of fun.
The annual event - marked by more than 100 countries worldwide - has grown hugely since it first launched, 21 years ago.
It’s a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and of reading. The event has grown to such a scale, it is even designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading.
This year it takes place on Thursday, March 1, with schools, play groups and organisations across Cumbria getting in on the action.
Participating organisations will receive special packs, complete with book tokens which youngsters can take into book shops to exchange for one of 10 new, free books.
And, in celebration, pupils and teachers alike will be hosting their own events.
Some schools are encouraging fancy dress as a favourite character, while others ask youngsters to wear 'a clue' as to their character's identity.
