SMALL businesses in the Prestwood area are being offered the chance to promote themselves at a spring fair in the village hall.
Sarah Stirzaker, who runs her own business, Just Good Gifts, selling small toys and gifts with Lucy Soden, organised the fair for February 26, from 2pm to 4pm, not only to sell her own goods, but to give others the chance to take part.
"I set up the business with Lucy when I was pregnant with my third son. He is now one and I thought if we are going to make a go of this business we must do something about it."
So far she has had a number of bookings, including a person selling candles, wooden toys and Easter decorations and another providing complementary medicine.
She also approached Prestwood Scouts who are laying on refreshments.
