A WEB-based business club, formed last year, aims to bring members together to achieve the buying power of a larger organisation.

BusinessFolder is the brainchild of Rosanna Taylor of Chalfont St Giles who set up the club to fill a gap in the marketplace by offering financial benefits to small businesses and contractors.

"More and more people are choosing to work for themselves. BusinessFolder was created to help smaller enterprises compete with the buying power of their competitors," said Rosanna.

"By leveraging our customers' combined purchasing power, we're able to provide real financial benefit, improve profitability and lend much-needed support."

Rosanna, 40, came upon the idea for the club after working in the City for a stockbroker where many services were on tap and at a discount.

Consultancy services, such as those dealing with project management, procurement, and IT and travel deals are already available through the club.

Affiliates find the best deal for you and when you agree, you are billed directly, including the discount.

Rosanna is looking to expand the range of services to include, for example, medical care and mobile phones.

Membership costs £90 a year.
