THE Police have found clumps of large rusty nails left in pull-ins on a Cumbrian road.
South Lakes Police received reports that a person was leaving the nails on Church Street in Beetham village.
A spokesperson from the police said: "This will cause harm to tyres of worse still a horse's hoof. Why someone would deliberately do this is a mystery."
