A group in Barrow is in need of public support as they search for a new home in the area.

Artworks Art4All CIC is on the lookout for a new space that would allow them to continue their creative workshops.

The site needs to be accessible for all and also needs a sink for washing equipment, along with a toilet on the same floor.

One of the group members said: "We want to create an art hub for the community so we can support people who have mental health, isolation, low income, or disability issues.

"We know there aren’t many low cost properties available in Barrow so if you know anywhere or know a business who would like to support an accessible community art hub please let them know."

The CIC engages with various parts of Furness, with its projects working in tandem with over 900 people each time.

If you can help, you can get in touch with the group via their Facebook page.
