A coffee morning has left two groups in Millom with a pleasant aftertaste following the weekend.
Millom Town Council helped to raise £260.15 for two local organisations - the Millom Army Cadets and Holborn Hill Junior Brass Band.
The event took place on April 13 and was in aid of the Mayor's Charity for 2024.
A spokesperson said: "Millom Mayor, Councillor Simone Faulkner, along with Millom Town Council, would like to thank all those who attended the coffee morning on Saturday.
"Grateful thanks go to the councillors who without their help this would not have been possible."
As well as serving a whole host of hot beverages to brighten up the cold Spring morning, the fundraiser also included a raffle which helped the organisers reach their end goal.
