A charity football match is coming to Barrow next month in memory of a local club's former manager.
Holker Old Boys will be taking on Hawcoat Park FC on May 25 on a day dedicated to Paul Cresswell, who passed away in September last year.
With admission costing £5, all the money raised will be going to St Mary's Hospice, the charity that cared for Paul in his final days.
His wife Lynne said: "Paul received wonderful care whilst he was a patient at St Mary's.
"All proceeds from the game will go to this wonderful local charity."
Gates open at 1pm with kick off coming an hour later at the Handmark Engineering Stadium on Rakesmoor Lane.
The clubhouse will remain open after the game for people to further celebrate Paul's life, as well as coming together to watch live FA Cup action.
