A MAN has been arrested after 'numerous complaints' of cold-calling incidents.
Police said a man was arrested On Wednesday afternoon following complaints of 'forceful' cold calling within the no-cold calling zone at Swarthmoor.
South Lakes Police said the man was selling household items at 'exorbitant' prices and taking advantage of the residents' vulnerabilities.
A spokesperson for the police said: "The male has since been released on police bail whilst enquiries continue with the condition not to re-enter the county.
"All such instances should be reported to Cumbria Police via 101."
