Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway is set to appear on TV screens this weekend.
The popular attraction will feature on Countryfile, hosted by Matt Baker and Anita Rani.
The episode will air at 6pm on BBC One, April 14, and will be available on BBC iPlayer shortly after.
The heritage railway runs from Ravenglass to Dalegarth Station near Boot in the Eskdale Valley.
The film crew explored the station at Ravenglass, providing viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of the engines.
Stuart Ross, general manager (visitor experience) of Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, said: "What a pleasure to welcome Countryfile to the railway.
"It was a fantastic opportunity not only to showcase some of our unique heritage engines, but also to inspire people about a car-free alternative to exploring some of the country’s most epic countryside.
"We’re all looking forward to tuning in on Sunday night!"
The Countryfile episode will also spotlight the Western Lake District’s countryside, featuring interviews with a local farmer and a group of wild swimmers.
