DRIVERS have been warned ahead of a three-day road closure for council works.
A section of Finsthwaite Lane in Backbarrow will be closed while Westmorland and Furness works are carried out.
This is anticipated to take up to three days to complete and start on April 13.
An alternative route can be found via the U5221 Back Lane, U5220, U5222, A590 and the unrestricted section of the C5049.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained where required for the duration of these works.
