And now, two Lake District spas have been named among the most popular in the UK.

Dank Geek revealed that Cumbria has the third-best spa with Gilpin Hotel and Lake House being reviewed with 81.70% 5-star reviews.

The price for the one-night stay for two persons in April at Gilpin Hotel is £580, which is 56% more than the average price of £371.

As many as 2175 people gave their opinion on Tripadvisor and more than 80% of them rated Gilpin Hotel and Lake House with 5 stars, citing an unforgettable spa experience.

Alongside Gilpin Hotel, Cumbria has another spa that ranks in the list - Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa takes joint 64th place, with 4-star ratings.
